The works address topics such as sexual violence, rape, acid attacks, honor killings, female genital mutilation, and child marriage. I also highlight less visible struggles, including the denial of education, restrictions on travel, and the inability to make choices about one’s own body. Even in societies with better conditions, women continue to fight for equality, including reproductive rights and opportunities to break the glass ceiling.
